HOW TO BE A BENEFICIAL STUDENT OF ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE

Everybody wants to be successful in this world to achieve his goals, have a good job, wealth, and status, and for this purpose, he is struggling, working hard spending his life’s maximum and golden time in getting worldly knowledge. Preparing himself for this world for the worldly benefits, starting his school, college, universities, and then working hard for specializations, and doctorates, in all this duration he spent almost 40 to 50 years of life, and when the time came to get the result, to enjoy this world. To be happy with the achievements, time is over, and you can say the game is over.

At this point when death approaches this person and angles are ready to take his soul, what he has prepared for his akhirah or for hereafter, for the grave, for the day of judgment, how to face Allah who has sent his messengers to convey the message. Allah has clarified the purpose of creation:

I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except for the purpose that they should worship Me.

The purpose of creation is to worship Allah alone, and we cannot know this without getting Islamic knowledge, we can be a doctor, engineers, businessmen, and lawyers, in this world but in Akhira we will be 1 out of 2 categories only either we will be a winner or a looser.

Brothers, we cannot correct our beliefs (Aqeedah) without Islamic knowledge, who will tell us what is shirk and what is Tawheed? Who will tell us how to worship Allah, this can be done only by getting Islamic knowledge. We are spending our maximum lives for the minimum benefit in the shape of this dunia (this world) and thinking we are successful no brother not at all if we want to know who is successful we have to ask this question from Quran.

Every soul has to taste death. It is on the Day of Judgement that you shall be paid your rewards in full. So, whoever has been kept away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has really succeeded. The worldly life is nothing but an enjoyment of deception.

Only those of His slaves fear Allah, who is knowledgeable. Surely Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.

Allah will raise those, in ranks, who have believed and are given knowledge. Allah is well aware of what you do.

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al’ As: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “Allah does not take away the knowledge, by taking it away from (the hearts of) the people, but takes it away by the death of the religious learned men till when none of the (religious learned men) remains, people will take as their leader’s ignorant persons who when consulted will give their verdict without knowledge. So they will go astray and will lead the people astray.”

Bukhari, Muslim

Abu-Darda Ra reported: The Prophet said, “He who follows a path in quest of knowledge, Allah will make the path of Jannah easy for him, and indeed, the angles lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge, being pleased with what he does, and indeed, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and even the fish in the depth of the waters seek forgiveness for him. The superiority of the learned man over the devout worshipper is like that of the full moon to the rest of the stars (i.e., in brightness). The scholars are the heirs of the Prophets who bequeath neither dinar nor dirham but only knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion.” [Abu Dawud & At-Tirmidhi]

Anas Ra reported: The Prophet Said,

“He who goes forth in seeking knowledge is in the way of Allah until he returns.” [At-Tirmidhi]

Abu Hurairah Ra reported: The Messenger of Allah said,

“He who calls others to follow the right guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being reduced in any respect.” [Muslim]

Abu Hurairah Ra reported: The Prophet said,

“Whoever treads the path in search of knowledge, Allah makes his way to Jannah easier.” [Muslim]

Sahl bin Sad Ra reported: The Prophet said to Ali Ra

“By Allah even if a single person is guided by Allah through you, surely it is better for you than a whole lot of red camels.” [Bukhari & Muslim]

Mu’awiya Ra reported: The Messenger of Allah said,

“When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen.” [Bukhari & Muslim]
